From CR Gazette: Experts warn Iowans to expect more extreme weather

The experts say that drought is the “latest example of long-term changes.” Eugene Takle, director of ISU’s Climate Science Initiative and assistant director Christopher Anderson were featured, as well as ISU climatologist Elwynn Taylor and state climatologist Harry Hillaker.

The article states that this year’s drought  “does not suggest a reversal of that wetness pattern but rather a continuation of the trend toward more extreme weather.”
