Several articles were published this past week that may be of interest to readers:

The Iowa Nutrient Reduction Strategy: public input is sought until January 4, 2013. The ISU webpage contains the draft document and a comment page so you can submit your comments electronically as well as instructions for mailing your comments.

From the Iowa Environmental Focus blog–Iowa Climate Statement: The Drought of 2012. A group of 138 scientists and researchers from 27 Iowa colleges and universities support the statement. The blog contains a video of the announcement, a link to the official statement as well as links to other resources on climate change.
