If you’re anything like me, sometimes you just need a little husky video break to help you get reenergized in the middle of the work day. Well, boy, do we have a treat for you! Our three Conservation Dogs – Charlie, Jackie, and Stewy – have been traveling across the state of Iowa interviewing all kinds of people who work in fields related to water, soil, and natural resources. Their travels have been captured on video, and we’re proud to debut the first ten episodes in The Adventures of the Conservation Pack video series!
These videos were created to help our youth audiences better understand a variety of agricultural and environmental issues, as well as build vocabulary and gain an increased understanding of the vast career opportunities available related to natural resources in our state.
Take a minute and check out the videos HERE– you may see a familiar face or even a co-worker! A few of the interviewees include Allen Bonini and Rachel Glaza (DNR), Matt Helmers (ISU), and ILF farmer-partner Laura Krouse of Mt. Vernon. It’s a bow-wow world when we all work together!
