Report Your Cover Crop Acres to the FSA by December 15th

An article from the Wallaces Farmer reminds farmers who fall seeded cereal rye and other overwintering small grain cover crops to stop into their local FSA office to report those acres before December 15. The deadline also applies to perennial forages, such as hay and pasture, according to an FSA announcement last week.
