Attend a Cover Crop Workshop Near You!

Iowa Learning Farms is hosting a series of spring cover crop management workshops around the state. These workshops will help prepare producers for spring management of cover crops and allow time for discussion to answer questions from new and experienced cover crop users. Topics at the workshops range from herbicide recommendations for termination and establishment, planter settings to handle higher amounts of biomass, cover crop seed selection, cover crop effects on soil health and more. Speakers include experts from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Practical Farmers of Iowa and USDA-ARS National Soil Tilth Laboratory.

Workshops are free and open to the public, but reservations are suggested to ensure adequate space and food. Contact Liz Juchems at 515-294-5429 or email

We hope to see you there!
